And there is the affix śnā after stambha , stumbha , skambha or skumbha 'to hinder', to be dull or insensible' 'to support' and sku 'to go by leaps', as well as the affix śnu , when a sārvadhātuka affix follows, in denoting the agent. (Note The first 4 dhātu are not found in the dhātupāṭha and are found in the sūtras, and hence called sautra dhātu ),

As स्तभ्नाति or स्तभ्नोति, स्तुभ्नाति or स्तुभ्नोति, स्कभ्नाति or स्कभ्नोति, स्कुभ्नाति or स्कुभ्नोति, स्कुनाति or स्कुनोति. The first four of these roots are not found in the Dhatupatha and are to be found in the sutras, and hence called Sautra roots.,
