The affixes ka -- prāgivātkaḥ [[5.3.70]], and akac (ak) -- avyayasarvanāmnāmakac prāk ṭeḥ [[5.3.71]], come when the thing is spoken of as contemptible.,
Thus अश्वकः 'a sorry horse'. उष्ट्रकः, गर्दभकः, उच्चकैः, नीचकैः सर्वके, विश्वक ॥ पचतकि 'he cooks comtemptibly'. जल्पतकि 'he speaks insignificantly'.,
