The word लुब्ध means व्याध or a fowler, a hunter. Thus दक्षिणमीर्ममस्य = दक्षिणेर्मा मृगः 'a stag wounded by the hunter on the right flank'. But in the following verse:- बाली हेमाब्जमाली गुणनिधिरिषुणानिर्मितो दक्षिणेर्मा, it denotes merely hunting. The word ईर्मम् means 'a wound'. Why do we say 'in reference to a hunter'? Observe दक्षिणेर्मम् शकटम् ॥,
