When that, whereof something is made or subsists in, is a multitude, then the affixes expressing a great quantity -- tasya samūhaḥ [[4.2.37]] etc. may also be used to denote 'made thereof, subsisting therein'.,
The च shows that मयट् also comes in the same sense. Thus मोदकाः प्रकृताः प्राचुर्येण प्रस्तुताः = मौदकिकम् 4.2.47 or मोदकमयम्; so also शाष्कुलिकम् or शष्कुलीमयम् ॥ In the second sense we have, मोदकाः प्रकृताः अस्मिन् यज्ञे = मौदकिको or मोदकमयो यज्ञः, शष्कुलिकः or शाष्कुलीमयः ॥,
