In the mantrāḥ , these words juṣṭa and arpita have always the acute on the first syllable.,
Thus जु꣡ष्ट देवानाम꣡र्पितं पितॄणाम् ॥ Some say that this rule applies only to जुष्ट and not to अर्पित; in which option is allowed even in the Mantra : so that it has acute on the last in the Mantra even : e.g.तस्मिन्साकं त्रिशता न शंकवोर्पिता꣡ ॥,
