1. sāḍhyai 2. sāḍhvā and 3. sāḍhā are irregularly formed in the chandas (Vedas).,
Thus साढ्यै समन्तात्, साढ्वा शत्रून् ॥ The latter is formed by क्त्वा affix, the ओ substitution not taking place. In the other alternative क्त्वा is changed to धौ ॥ साढा is formed by तृच् affix. In the secular literature सोढा and सोढ्वा the proper forms.,
