[ghuṇ-ka] A particular kind of insect found in timber. Comp. akṣaraṃ, lipiḥ f. an incision in wood or in the leaf of a book made by an insect or worm and resembl- ing somewhat the form of a letter. ºnyāyaḥ see under nyāya.
