[jaṃbuṃ tannāmaphalaṃ lāti lā-ka] 1 A kind of tree (= jaṃbū q. v.).

2 The Ketaka plant. laṃ Jest or jesting compliments addressed to the bride and the bridegroom by the friends and female relatives of the bride- groom (or of the bride). Comp. mālikā the same as above.
