[jaṃghanyate kuṭilaṃ gacchati han yaṅ- luki ac pṛṣoº; cf. Uṇ. 5. 31] 1 Leg from the ankle to the knee, the shank.

3 A part of a bed-stead. Comp. karaḥ, karikaḥ, kāraḥ, kārikaḥ a runner, courier, an express. trāṇaṃ an armour for the legs.
