keśarin is an alternate of kesarin. m. [keśa-sa-ra-ini] 1 A lion; anuhuṃkurute ghanadhvaniṃ na hi gomā- yurutāni kesarī Śi. 16. 25; dhanurdharaḥ kesariṇaṃ dadarśa R. 2. 29; Ś. 7. 3.
2 The best, excellent, or most pro minent of a class (at the end of- comp.); cf. kuṃjara, siṃha &c.

6 N. of the father of Hanū- mat. Comp. sutaḥ an epithet of Hanūmat.
