Apte Sanskrit-English Dictionary

m. N. of a king of the solar race, son of Yuvanāśva (be- ing born from his own belly). As soon as he came out of the belly, the sages said ‘kaṃ eṣa dhāsyati’; where- upon Indra came down and said ‘māṃ dhāsyati’; the boy was, therefore, called Māndhātṛ.
