2 A follower of the doctrines of Paśupati. taṃ The Pāśupata doctrines; (for the Pāśupata doc- trines, see Sarva. S.). Comp. astraṃ N. of a missile presided over by paśupati or Śiva (which Arjuna acquired from Śiva).
