[yu-thak pṛṣoº dīrghaḥ] 1 A herd, flock, multitude, a large number or troop (as of beasts); strīratneṣu mamo- rvaśī priyatamā yūthe taveyaṃ vaśā V. 4. 25; S. 5. 5. Comp. nāthaḥ, paḥ, patiḥ 1. the leader of a troop or band.
