The affix aṇ comes after the words vyuṣṭa etc. in the Locative -7th case in construction, the sense of 'being given therein or done therein'.,
Thus व्युष्टे दीयते कार्यं वा = वैयुष्टम्, नैत्यम् ॥
Vart:- So also after the words अग्निपद &c. As, आग्निपदम्, पैलमूलम् ॥ This Vartika can be dispensed with, as the word अग्निपद &c can be included in the व्युष्टादि list of words.
