The ‘non- borrower’, N. of a figure of speech in which the thing in question does not assume the quality of another though there is a reason for it; paraguṇā- nanuhārastvasya tatsyādatadguṇaḥ; e. g. dhavalosi yadyapi suṃdara tathāpi tvayā mama raṃjitaṃ hṛdayam. rāgapūritepi hṛdaye subhaga nihito na raktosi..
