2 A barley-corn or the weight of a barley-corn.

3 A measure of length equal to (1/6) or (1/3) of an angula.

4 A mark on the fingers of the hand re- sembling a barley-corn and supposed according to its position to indicate wealth, progeny, good fortune &c. Comp. aṃkuraḥ, prarohaḥ a shoot or blade of barley. agrajaḥ 1. = yava- kṣāra.
