This ordains मयट् in the sacred literature also, secular literature being dealt with in 4.3.143. Thus पर्णमयः, दर्भमयः, शरमयः in the following यस्य पर्णमयी जुहूर्भवति, दर्भमयम् वासो भवति, शरमयम् बर्हि र्भवति ॥,
