The affix ṣṭhan comes in the sense of 'he conveys' after the words bhastra etc. being in the Instrumental -3rd case in construction.,
Thus भस्त्रया हरति = भ꣡स्त्रिकः \who conveys by means of a leathern bag, a carrier\. The feminine will be भस्त्रिकी꣡ 4.1.41. So भ꣡रटिकः f. भरटिकी꣡ ॥ The word भस्त्र means a leathern bellows by which the iron is heated, or a leathern bag in which grain &c, is carried.
